Gymnastics but much more FUN! Pole fitness is an extension of pole dancing. This class doesn’t teach you routines but covers beautiful tricks and fun flowing combinations, brilliant for building strength and so much fun! (great for insta addicts)
Aka Gingie and I am the Studio Manager and Head Instructor at Inversion. I’ve been with the school since 2014 when I joined as a student. I have always been a dancer, however my aerial journey began when I attended university where I studied Dance and Drama with aerial performance. I fell in love! Though I am now known as the slinky, splitty pole dancer I was back then more of a silks girl! Since then I have trained with industry leaders in aerial, wired aerial theatre, performed with artists such as ‘Years and Years’ and ‘Clean Bandit’ and gained several qualifications for instruction and anatomy. More recently my focus has been anatomy and stretching. My drive as a teacher has always been to help my students feel GOOD. If you have achieved a move you wanted, managed that routine you thought you wouldn’t, got into your splits finally, that’s brilliant! But, if you leave my class feeling great then that is fantastic! Confidence and empowerment is the aim here at Inversion, sure I can help you get fit but I really want to help you find yourself and be unapologetically you. The main skills I teach are; pole fitness, pole dance, stretch and burlesque.
I’ve worked for inversion since July 2019, teaching aerial hoop, aerial skills, pole fitness and stretch. I have been a dancer my whole life, which will always be my first love within the performance world. My passion for the aerial arts started during university where I gained a first class honours degree in Dance and Drama with Aerial Performance and it was during that time where I met Lucy and was introduced to the Inversion family. Since then I have worked away on a dance contract, gained various instructor qualifications and started my journey as an aerial instructor. Now I couldn’t do anything else. My teaching qualifications include; Aerial hoop, Aerial silks, Pole fitness, Children’s aerial & pole fitness, IDTA pre-associate freestyle dance teacher, Anatomy & physiology applied to aerial arts, First aid with the Red Cross and Full DBS checked
