Did someone say… STRIP TEASE?! This is a seriously fun confidence boosting hilarious and downright sexy class to be part of. You are never expected to do anything beyond your comfort, but we guarantee after a few weeks you will be just as at home in garters as you are in your slippers.
Aka Gingie and I am the Studio Manager and Head Instructor at Inversion. I’ve been with the school since 2014 when I joined as a student. I have always been a dancer, however my aerial journey began when I attended university where I studied Dance and Drama with aerial performance. I fell in love! Though I am now known as the slinky, splitty pole dancer I was back then more of a silks girl! Since then I have trained with industry leaders in aerial, wired aerial theatre, performed with artists such as ‘Years and Years’ and ‘Clean Bandit’ and gained several qualifications for instruction and anatomy. More recently my focus has been anatomy and stretching. My drive as a teacher has always been to help my students feel GOOD. If you have achieved a move you wanted, managed that routine you thought you wouldn’t, got into your splits finally, that’s brilliant! But, if you leave my class feeling great then that is fantastic! Confidence and empowerment is the aim here at Inversion, sure I can help you get fit but I really want to help you find yourself and be unapologetically you. The main skills I teach are; pole fitness, pole dance, stretch and burlesque.
Aka, Misty Meaner. I am an aerial instructor at Inversion. Having no previous background in dance or gymnastics I joined Inversion in 2017 starting my journey with pole fitness before moving onto pole dance and aerial. When I’m not making shapes in the hoop you can find me slinking around in a pair of heels and I’m constantly looking for ways to combine the two. I’m in the process of training to be a PT and have qualifications in Mental Health Awareness. In my spare time you can find me smashing my PB in the gym, geeking out over video games and attending rock festivals. My main focus is to empower, instil confidence and encourage strong minds as well as strong bodies.
